Before he discovered the magic of glass Ron Reichs created jewelry in a variety of media. He worked in jade and other semi precious gemstones making one of a kind pieces, carving and polishing, then setting the designs in silver and gold and adding other findings such as hand braided cords.The finished item has then been nestled in a hand fashioned wooden box of New Zealand native timber.
